Joe Valderaz went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2017, surrounded with the love and comfort of his family.
He enjoyed music, dancing, boxing watching old Westerns and family gatherings. He moved to Nebraska, worked as a foreman at Army Amunition, and worked in nursing and eventually started his own business doing lawn service and construction. As the years went by, he became interested in real estate–the purchase of homes, remodeling and/or building them and using them as rentals. Yet again, he started another business, “Ernie’s Lounge.”
After years of hard work, he decided to retire and relocate closer to home and moved to Galveston, Texas. Finding that retirement wasn’t for him, he began his construction business again and continued with real estate for many years. Finally, after being convinced by his children, he moved to Kerrville, Texas to be even closer to them.
Rosary will be held 6 PM, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
