Zachary Paul Bowen, 33, of Dalhart, Texas, passed away in Kerrville, Texas on November 29, 2022. He was born in Amarillo, Texas to Russell and Paula Bowen on January 6, 1989.

Zach went to Dalhart High School and was a member of the Honor Society and straight A Honor Roll.

He received his welding certificate and worked in welding and construction for many years.

Growing up, Zach enjoyed golfing, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, and camping with his family and cousins. Zach really enjoyed fishing with his Grandpa Tello and Anthony Martinez .Zach and his sister Ashley were inseparable, they loved eating snacks together. He loved his kids and family.

Zachary was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Raul Tello; paternal grandmother, Yvonne Bowen; paternal grandfather, Paul Bowen; great-grandma, Flora Ward (Abuelita); and cousin, Jordan Smith.

Survivors include his son, Aybl Bowen; daughter, Mia Bowen; parents, Russell and Paula Bowen; sister, Ashley Bowen; brother, Phillip Tello and grandmother Gloria Rodriguez Tello; nieces and nephews, Misty, Brookelyn, Hunter, Paislee, Jazlyn and Jace; special family members, Sarah Tello, Steven Tello, Stephanie Tello, Irma Ruiz, Anna Dalton, Rachel Daughtery, Rebecca Tello, Carl Tello, Anthony Martinez, Whitney Martinez, Amri Gomez, Daniel Sanchez, Jada Thomas, Desirea Coleman, Doreitha Hunnicutt, Mariah Guynes, Mikalya Smith and Skylar Smith.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM on December 3, 2022 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
