Janis Darden Crismon

Janis Darden Crismon, 86, of Kerrville, Texas, was called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 8, 2023. She was born on January 30, 1937 in Fort Worth to J. Howard Darden and Isabel Mary Darden. She married Mike Crismon on April 19, 1973 in Houston, Texas.

She graduated from Lubbock High School in 1954. Janis worked as a secretary for various insurance companies and she was also a paralegal for several years for Patton and Gustafson.

She volunteered at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston with cancer patients. Janis was fortunate to travel with Mike on certain business trips, both foreign and domestic.

Janis was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Diana Nettles and Sue Malone.

Survivors include loving husband, Mike Crismon; son, Kane Austin; daughter, Marcy Beshears; brothers, Chuck Darden and David Darden; sister, Linda Pimlott; grandchildren, Hayden Austin, Caleb Austin and Josh Austin; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private services for the family will be held at a later time.
