Linda Darnell Hartsfield Castillo, 78, of Kerrville, passed away August 30, 2024, in Kerrville. She was born December 22, 1945, in Caro, Georgia to Mary Nash and John Hartsfield. She married Bruce Castillo on May 6, 1995, in Newton, Kansas.

Linda was a homemaker and member of Foursquare Gospel Fellowship in Kerrville.

Linda Castillo was preceded in death by mother, Mary Nash; father, John Hartsfield; sister, Lucille Ramirez; and father-in-law, Adolph Castillo.

Survivors include husband, Bruce Castillo; daughter, Dianne Herl and spouse Tj Herl; daughter, Janet Miller; daughter, Connie Johnson; son, Michael Miller; brother, John Hartsfield; sister, Juanita Grimm; grandson, Thomas Miller and 6 great grandchildren; granddaughter, Ashley Pritchard and 4 great grandchildren; granddaughter, Rebecca Major and husband Abraham Gonzalez with 14 great grandchildren; granddaughter, Danielle Herl; grandson, Rex Herl; granddaughter, Janelle Herl; mother-in-law, Maxine Castillo; brother-in-law, Alex Castillo; sister-in-law, Yvonne Seible and husband David Seible; sister-in-law, Yvette Hogie and husband Darrell Hogie.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, 728 Jefferson St., Kerrville.

Funeral will be 1:00 pm Thursday September 5, 2024, at Four Square Gospel Fellowship, 915 Bluebell Rd., Kerrville, officiated by Pastor Dale Friedrich. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Sidney Baker St., Kerrville.

Pallbearers will be Abraham Gonzalez, Jason Torres, Janalynn Torres, Thomas Miller, Alex Castillo, Darrell Hogie.
