Carlos Nava Cordero

Carlos Nava Cordero, 51, of Kerrville, TX, passed away on September 6th, 2024, in Bakersfield, CA. He was born in Mexico to Martha Cordero and Jose Nava. He married Veronica Rodriguez on February 5th, 2015.

He went to school and graduated from Wasco High School in Wasco, CA. He worked as a plumbing assistant for Hardin Plumbing alongside his partner Ed Gonzales.

Carlos Nava Cordero was preceded in death by his father, Jose Nava and Matias Angel Medina.

Survivors include spouse, Veronica Rodriguez; children, Jasmine and Codie Ayala (spouse), Kaileen and Martin Garcia (spouse), Carlos Joel Nava, Klarissa Nava, and Christopher Nava; siblings, Norma Nunez, Ana Kennon, and Sergio Nava; mother, Martha Cordero; grandchildren, Cora Faye Ayala, Ezra Aiden Garcia, Elias Abel Garcia; and all his beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

Visitation will be 4-6 PM, followed by the Rosary at 6 PM on Sunday, September 15th, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 AM Monday, September 16th, 2024, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Rafael Duda officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carlos Nava, Christopher Nava, Sergio Nava, Angel Garcia, Codie Ayala, and Martin Garcia.
