Dale Clifford Bundick, 70 years old, of Spring Branch, TX, passed away on August 29, 2025, in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Kerrville, TX to Otho and Dorthy Bundick on October 15, 1954. He married Shirley Bundick on January 16, 2014, in Canyon Lake, TX.

No one who met Dale would say he wasted his words. He appeared to everyone as a stoic man with little to say. Yet when he spoke, it was with authority and wisdom. Dale had a steady strength and peace that never went unnoticed. Throughout his career he became a mentor, a colleague and a most valuable asset to every employer he worked for. Dale brought a lifetime of wisdom and knowledge with him and with that came huge responsibilities and even bigger deadlines that he took in strides making him irreplaceable in his field. Dale never completed a job halfway; he always went above and beyond showing everyone what true work ethic looked like. Dale also loved his family with a quiet passion. He loved his son, Aaron, and daughter Amanda, and granddaughter, Alenna, unconditionally. When he met his loving wife, Shirley, he may not have realized how big his family would become. He became the father to five more daughters, four sons-in-law, and a grandpa to more than 13 grand and great-grandchildren. Where he was affectionately referred to as Papa Dale, he will always be loved and missed.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Dorthy; and his brothers, Stanley, Phillip, and Gary Bundick.

Survivors include wife, Shirley Bundick; children, Aaron and Clara Bundick, and Amanda Bundick; siblings, Patricia Pate, Lois Bishop, Janice McAnally, and Keith Bundick; granddaughter, Alenna Bundick; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday September 12, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Friday September 12, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Judy Armstrong officiating. Private family burial will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery in Menard, TX.
