She graduated from Tivy High School and worked at Kerrville State Hospital and Ingram ISD. She loved spending time outdoors camping, swimming, boating, fishing and tubing. Family gatherings, and backyard barbecues in the beautiful Hill Country were her favorite activities. Gardening, needlepoint, and animals of all kinds, especially dogs, were precious to her.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremains will reside in the Hill Country, which she loved so dearly.

The family requests that any memorial donations be made to an animal shelter of one's choice, or Peterson Hospice.
