Carol Verboven Ferris peacefully passed away in Kerrville, TX on February 2, 2024, at the age of 83. She graduated from Port Chester High School before becoming a secretary.
Carol was loved by everyone who met her. Her ability to lend an ear, coupled with her infectious smile, will be greatly missed. Many knit finger puppets, scarves, hats, and blankets, along with her chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, will be cherished forever.
Carol is survived by her husband, Nelson Ferris; son, John (Michelle) Ferris; daughter, Debra (Kevin) Fowler; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

I loved Carol.. she always had a smile on her face when I worked at Riverhills…. She and I always talked about my grandbabies and I’d show her new pictures. My heart and prayers go out to the family. She was a very special lady.

What a privilege to have known Carol for several years in the Sticks With Sticks. She was creative, she was helpful and empathetic, and she was always happy with a pair of knitting needles going click, click, click.
