Betty J. Sheppard, 84, of Kerrville, passed away on June 3, 2024, in Kerrville. She was born in Cookeville, TN to Lawrence Coffelt and Kathleen Miller on July 8, 1939. She married John W. Sheppard on November 14, 1963.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Sheppard; and son, John Lee Sheppard.

Survivors include sons, Larry Sheppard, David Sheppard, Gary Sheppard; and niece, Stephanie Sheppard.

Betty received a direct burial on June 4, 2024.

Funeral services will not be held as per Betty's wishes.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Betty. I worked with Betty years ago in long term health care (nursing homes). She was a hardworking, dependable and kind employee. I haven't seen her in years but have always admired her and considered her a friend. She made the lives of the many residents she cared for better. Grateful to have known her. May you be filled with the peace only God can provide.
