Eloisa R. Aguirre, 93, of Kerrville, passed away on July 7, 2024 in Kerrville at her residence. She was born in Kerrville to Martin Lozano Reyes and Juanita Barron Reyes on April 7, 1931. She married Sylvester Morales Aguirre on June 16, 1948 in Kerr County.

She attended school on the South Fork Ranch. She worked in housekeeping/laundry for the Inn of Hills for fifty years. She was a widow at an early age and raised seven children as a single mother. She tended to and provided for these seven children all her life. She also helped not only family but also her coworkers, friends, neighbors and anyone that knocked on her door.

Eloisa was preceded in death by her father, mother and brothers, Tony and Robert Reyes.

Survivors include her children: Elvira Ramirez, Juanita Morales, Yolanda Gonzales, Gloria Jackson, Armondo Aguirre (Lucy), Raymond Aguirre (Irma), Maryann Oranday (Roy); her brothers and sisters: Martin B. Reyes (Lenore), Oralia R. Aguirre, Henry B. Reyes (Mary), Christine R. Gonzales and loving sister-in-law Josie Reyes; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 12, 2024, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, with Rosary preceding the Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Johnnie Ramirez, Elias Aguirre, Rene Aguirre, Rodolfo Morales, Antonio Gonzales, and Caleb Roach. Alternate Pallbearers will be Bryson Aguirre, Ray Fierro, and Bryson Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer Society and Alamo Hospice, Notre Dame Church or St. Peter upon the Water.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. William S. Grocki and staff, Dr. Rebecca Barrington and staff, Alamo Hospice especially nurses Tina, Juanita, Clarissa, social worker Josie and Chaplains Larry and Rolando.
