Grace Eloise Helm Bugg, 81, of Hunt, TX, passed away on August 14, 2024, in Hunt, TX. She was born in Houston, TX to Jack Kenneth Helm, Sr and Mary Grace Schirmacher Helm on September 18, 1942. She married Robert J Bugg, Jr. on September 8, 1961, in Bellaire, TX.

She went to school at Bellaire High School. She worked as an Insurance Specialist for Dow Chemical.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents Jack K Helm and Mary Grace Helm; Brothers, Jack Helm, Jim Helm and Jordan Helm; Husband, Robert J Bugg, Jr.; son, Keith Allen Bugg and daughter-in-law, Johanna Dent Bugg.

Survivors include daughter, Kelly Barker (Ronnie); Brother, John Helm (Leah), Sisters, Kay Helm and Aby Smith; grandchildren, Ryan Gernand (Brittany), Kristen Gernand (Bryan), Austin Bugg (Blair), Travis Bugg (Megan), Taylor Boling (Charlie) and Tanner Bugg (Reagan); Great Grandchildren, Grayson Gernand, Brynlee Gernand, Landon Gernand, Tinley Bugg, Konner Bugg, Jaxon Boling and Easton Bugg and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday August 21, 2024 at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, TX with Darren Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Restwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ryan Gernand, Austin Bugg, Travis Bugg and Tanner Bugg; Brother, John Helm and nephews, Justin Helm, Jonathan Helm and Lance Helm.

Memorials may be given to St Jude Children's Hospital or Tunnels for Towers.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Jon Chancellor, Dr James Young, Peterson Home Health especially her nurse Kay, and Peterson Hospice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
