Helen Eulene Stockton passed from this life on September 20, 2024. She was born on October 7, 1930, in Bessemer, Alabama. Her parents were Drucella and Hoy Donaldson.
Her father moved his family from Alabama to Texas when Helen was a baby. The family moved to San Benito, Texas where she grew up and attended schools. She married her Marine boyfriend, Dwight Stockton, in the early 50s. They moved to different places while he was in the Marines.
After he retired, they lived in San Benito several years and then moved to the Houston area where Helen worked for the school tax office for many years until Dwight passed away. She had her husband buried in Garden of Memories in Kerrville where she was going to live.
Helen had a brother, Jim, and a sister, Doris. Jim and Genita had one son, David, and Doris and Jerry Beshears had two sons, Jason and Shawn and two daughters, Jerri Ann and Helen Sue Beshears. She had many nieces and nephews. All of her family will miss her!
Helen will be buried next to her husband, Dwight, in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at 10 AM, Friday, September 27, 2024, with Rev. John Onstott officiating the graveside service.
