Keith Paul, 94, of Hunt, TX, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Kerrville, TX.

Keith was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 1, 1930. He grew up in Houston, TX, and graduated from Lamar High School. He earned a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. At the age of 14, he started working for Texas Tire Co. and also working on and driving farm equipment until he graduated from UT in 1952. He married Betty Robertson, and then served in the U.S. Army for two years. Keith then began working as a management consultant which ultimately led him to small business ownership in his chosen field of pipeline evacuation and portable compression services for the past 60 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward B. and Alice A. Paul; his wife of 54 years, Betty Robertson Paul; sister-in-law, Mary Beth Paul; and son-in-law, Brant Bousquet.

Keith leaves behind his wife, Clare Masterson Paul; children, Roseanne Elling, Jeff Paul, Nancy Boyd (Jack), Jimmy Paul (Lynn) and Virginia Bousquet; brother, Kenneth A. Paul (Luann); grandchildren, Trey Elling (Justine), Michael Elling (Meagan), Rob Elling (Kristin), Jonathan Paul, Katie Dunnigan (Ben), Kylie DeLaO (Ruben), Carrie Morton (Daniel), Kristen Myers (Kyle), James Paul (Ashley), Jerrod Paul (Miranda), Makayla Paul, Robert Bousquet and Paul Bousquet; step-grandchildren, Jordan Boyd (Roxanne), Tyler Boyd (Caroline), Britton Boyd (Laura); 17 beloved great-grandchildren; nieces, Mary Anna Paul, Alice King (David) and J.J. Langston; first cousin, Bette Leonard (Phil), their son, Bryan Leonard (Katie), and their families. In recent years, Keith was fond of Clare's adult children: Gail Pitt, Cynthia Bowers (Dan), Marc Johnson, Lee Johnson, and Clay Johnson (Kristina).

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2024, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, TX, with a reception following.

I feel so blessed that I had breakfast with Keith a month ago when he was in town. We first met 55 years ago and have been close ever since. He was just a wonderful person. God bless him and all his family.
