We got to know Scottie when we were all students at Texas Tech. We had such good times roping together in the afternoons with Scotty and Mike Mays. Although the paths of our lives led us in diverse paths after our college days, we remember fondly the good times we had and kept in touch with one another. We’ll miss Scotty’s cheery outlook on life. Much love to you, Carol, and to all the others who also loved Scotty.

Our condolences to the entire Dugger family! Scottie was without a doubt one of my favorite heroes when I was growing up! Sometimes he seemed bigger than life and I will forever have great memories of him doing sports including track, football, and rodeo in Three Rivers. Gone but never forgotten.

Tommy I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Growing up there I just remember all the good talk in town I heard around town of the likes of your brother and "Peanut", Haskell Hester. Those were definetly the good days, at the Kneip House. Thanks for being part of my good memories. High Years were very hard in my life until I joined the Army.

To Carol, BJ & Jamie, and the rest of the family,

There aren't any words that truly bring comfort during this time. Give yourself grace to grieve, lean on those around you, and we take comfort in knowing that Scottie is healed and with Jesus. He was an amazing best friend to my dad and I am so grateful to have gotten to know him as well as all of you throughout their many years of friendship. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed. The memories we have will continue to live on and we love each of you very much! Our prayers are with you.
