Charlotte Nicole Ritter was born April 14, 1985, in Fort Worth, Texas, and passed away on Feb 28, 2025, on her most beloved grandfather's birthday. Charlotte was a devoted mother and a lifelong educator. She is known for her kindness and infectious smile. She will be remembered for her commitment to education and her passion for ''Always Learning.'' She taught in traditional settings and helped many through her private tutoring.

Charlotte graduated from Tivy High School in 2003. She went on to graduate from Schreiner University with an undergraduate degree in English as well as a master's degree in Education. Her most recent position was teaching Language Arts to 7th/8th grade students at Center Point ISD. Charlotte was instrumental in developing young minds, as one parent remarked ''She didn't just teach curriculum she taught life lessons that stuck with her students long after they left her classroom.''

As a mother of 5 beautiful children whom she adored, Charlotte throughout any adversity raised these children to be respectful, considerate and responsible. Her children were always her first priority as she alone met their needs. A GoFundMe has been set up so that the children's needs can continue to be met: https://www.gofundme.com/f/usvd4-help-charlottes-family-in-their-time-of-need

Community service and engagement was another pillar of Charlotte's personality. She volunteered regularly with a variety of civic groups and nonprofits, giving of her time and her spirit to improve the lives of others.
She may be remembered most as a friend to be counted upon as she fostered and cherished scores of close friendships throughout her life. She checked in when life got busy, celebrated even the smallest victories, and showed up when it mattered most.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her grandparents, H. Glen Ritter and Lillian Ritter. She is survived by her mother, Catherine Lucy Ritter; her children, Glen Ritter (Ariatna), who are expecting Charlotte's first grandchild, Joseph De La Cruz, Ashlynn De La Cruz, Noah Benson and Nolan Benson. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, David Ritter (Sally) of Bryan, Texas and Jerry Ritter (Boni) of Lafayette, Louisiana; as well as her cousins, Lucas Ritter (Alyssa) of Austin, Texas, Erin Dore (Lucas) of The Woodlands, Texas, and Lauren Tucker (Jeremy) of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Charlotte's life was cut short but her life was a testament to the enduring power of community and compassion. This special life shaped futures and nurtured hearts. Her story reminds us that impact is measured not in years but in the lives uplifted along the way. The Kerrville community will continue to honor her memory through the countless seeds of kindness she planted - seeds that will undoubtedly blossom for generations to come.

Services will be held at 6 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 3-6 PM.

Interment will take place at 10 AM, Monday, March 10, 2025, at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Glenn, Joseph, Ashlynn, Cathy and my beloved grand boys Noah and Nolan. I can’t even express in words how sorry I am for your loss. Charlotte meant the world to me. I’ll always remember that little half smile and you laughter. Most of all I’ll always remember what a wonderful mother you are. I remember helping us out with technical things Tim and I didn’t understand. Thank you for being the daughter in law you were. Like the very last time we texted. I will always, always love you. With love Wanda Benson
