Stuart Nammen Bessey, 66, of Hunt Texas, passed away on April 7, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Stuart was born on October 31, 1958 in Grand Rapids Michigan to Frank James Bessey and Thelma May Bessey. Stuart was known for his carpentry skills, hunting and karate. Stuart was an outstanding husband, father and grandfather. His work ethic and love will be greatly remembered and missed the most. A stand-up man.

Stuart is preceded in death by his first wife, Carrie Bessey; Mother, Thelma May Bessey; Father, Frank James Bessey; and sister, Nancy Ann Smith.

Stuart is survived by his wife, Deborah; his siblings, Steve (Marlene) Bessey, David Bessey, Jim (Cindy) Bessey, Karen (Keith) Middendorf; his children, Shannan and Matthew; step children, Garrick, Amy and Chris, plus many grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on April 15th at 2:00 pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Please wear bright colors.

He'll never be forgotten for his hard work and love.
