Carey was born November 2, 1963, in Raymondville, TX to William Alison Keller and Truda Ann Roberts. He graduated from Calhoun High School in 1982, served as a Naval Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. Carey later opened his own business, Tivy Air Cooling & Heating in Kerrville, TX. He enjoyed working with his clients and he considered many close friends. A parishioner at Notre Dame Catholic Church, his deep Faith in our Lord was a testament to his love for God Our Father.
Carey married Stephanie (Lopez) Keller in 2005, sharing 20 years of a love-filled marriage.
His love for his children and wife was his greatest joy. He especially enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. Carey enjoyed weight training, hunting, fishing, playing cards and board games, classic cars and spending time outdoors. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie; his 4 children, Karen Leonard and husband Billy, of Sweeny, TX, Alysia Fikes and husband Heith, of Port Lavaca, TX, Rachel Keller and Lee Keller, along with 5 grandchildren, Laikynn, Londyn, Liam, Lawson and Heidi.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, TX. Rosary to follow.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 10:00am at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville, TX. Burial to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.

I’ve known Carey my whole life. As children we spent much time playing, laughing, fighting, and driving Granny and Grandad crazy. These are memories I cherish, and when I close my eyes, I can still feel the love and warmth we all felt there. Carey was one of the younger of the cousins, but he followed us older kids everywhere in the field and down the dirt roads, constantly laughing at our shenanigans. Life happened…we all grew up and went our separate ways, but those memories of all the cousins together are still, and will always be, my favorites. Rest in peace, sweet Carey. Hug your mama, my daddy, uncle Lee, uncle Everet, and Grandad and Granny for me. We will met again, I know. Love you.

Stephanie, I remember when you both first started dating and you knew right away he was the one you wanted to spend your life with. The love you both shared lit up a room when you both were in it. I'm so sorry that you have to be without him until you both are reunited again, but we all know he's going to be watching over you and the kids. Yall were his life! He was such a kind human being. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you and here for you always.
