Timothy Charles Taylor, 69, of Kerrville, passed away on April 7th, 2026. Born in Mason, TX on December 24th, 1956 to John Wesley "Jay W" and Charlene Bogusch Taylor.

Tim married best friend and wife of 45 years, Patricia ReneƩ Tollett, November 8th, 1980, and has one daughter, Cori Shaye Taylor, who was tricked by her father into believing earth worms were a good idea to eat. They were not.

Tim survived childhood bone cancer, a battle which lost him his right arm, but gained him the CB call sign of ''One-Armed Bandit,'' and the ability to convince everyone around him that he could only swim in circles. He also convinced many that he lost it to failing to wash his hands, a rattlesnake bite, or a hippopotamus attack.

Tim graduated from Tivy High School in 1975. His jobs ranged from Farrier to installing the original computers at the VA Medical Center here in Kerrville. He eventually settled on playing with electricity in the form of an electrician and was known for troubleshooting electrical problems and inventing.

Tim was an avid chef and loved creating new recipes to test out on friends, often hiding spicy peppers in mashed potatoes for his loved ones to find. He loved old country music and dancing. He was an avid hunter and excellent marksman. He found his love of training animals in training mules, horses and eventually stock herding dogs. He loved to challenge himself with many different breeds including, Bouviers, Cattle Dogs, Kelpies, Border Collies, Belgian Shepherds, Corgis, Australian Shepherds, etc. He won Herding High in Trials and Reserve High in Trials at several Breed National Specialties in multiple venues.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Jay, and nephew, Ryan.

Tim loved life and tricked us all into loving him dearly, and leaves behind enumerable friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter, Cori Shaye and partner Dan; mother, Charlene; three brothers, Tommy and partner Laurie, Richard and wife Lorey, and Lewis and wife Becky; along with many nieces, nephews, and bonus family.

A Celebration of Life Memorial BBQ is being planned by family with the date and location TBD.
