Daniel Robert Delgadillo
4/23/1976 - 10/4/2023

Daniel Robert Delgadillo, 47, of Kerrville passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at his residence. He was born on April 23, 1976 to Danny Delgadillo and Isabel Brocato.

Daniel Robert was a loving, kind-hearted man. He was born in Kerrville, but grew up a military brat. He never met a stranger and made many friends of different nationalities and cultures.

He attained a childhood dream when he received his degree from Louisiana State University. He always supported his LSU Tiger teams and was their biggest fan- "Live Purple - Die Gold".

He loved collecting sports cards and enjoyed watching all sports, especially the LSU Tigers. You could hear him roar when they had a win. Another sport he loved was NASCAR, his favorite driver was Joey Logano.

Danny was a PROUD dad. His "Pride and Joy" were his children Diego and Haven. He knew and always said they were special and were his greatest accomplishments.

Daniel Robert was a dutiful and respectful son. SO LOVED - as only a parent can feel - "CON TODO MI CORAZON".

He did not ask or expect anything from anyone. But willingly and freely shared and gave to others. Always a "true friend" when you needed one.

Danny was a longtime employee of Riverhill Country Club Golf Course, which he played on occasion. He was proud of the work he did there.

He was happy in his work whether it was in the heat of summer or cold of winter- ready to do whatever was needed.

Danny was a quiet soul with a sweet heart that loved his family. He will be greatly missed by his cousins, Jennifer, Damian and Felicia, and their families. He was like a brother to them and an uncle to their children.

He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Delgadillo; grandfather, Felix Delgadillo; grandparents Luis and Henrietta Lopez; aunt, Laura Balentine and uncle, Gabriel Delgadillo.

Survivors include his son, Diego Delgadillo; daughter, Haven Delgadillo (Fort Worth); mother, Isabel Brocato (Joe) from Haughton, LA; uncle, Gino Delgadillo (Cindy) and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Respects can be made from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

"This is not goodbye Danny, it's we'll see you later."

Daniel Robert will live on in our memories and in our hearts. Rest in Peace DRD.
