Noemi C. Robles
10/20/1951 - 10/12/2023

On October 12, 2023, Noemi Casarez Robles, also known to many as “Mimi,” 71, of Kerrville, entered the gates of Heaven in her home with her beloved daughter and her loved ones at her side. Early that morning, the clouds lifted and the Aurora Borealis ushered her to Heaven.

Our mother was loved by so many people. She had an infectious smile. She always had her beautiful Mexican dresses on. All of the dresses were very colorful and designed to her fit. She loved jewelry and OMG did she have a love for her purses. Her favorites were Blackie and Vicky.

She knew how to brighten someone’s day by making them giggle hard with her jokes and silly faces that she would make. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She knew everyone’s birthdays and she made sure to call them and serenade them with Felicidades and end it with Happy Birthday and a prayer.

She had many hobbies; one of them was calling her sisters and talking about their day or gossiping about almost anything. She made sure to call them before dialysis and afterwards, and at night before going to bed. She also loved traveling to San Antonio to spend time with her sisters, nieces and nephews. She loved going out shopping and having fun. She enjoyed working on her crossword puzzles and coloring. She was the Queen of Bingo. She made sure to let her husband know coming Saturday they were going to San Antonio to play Bingo at Randy’s or if not, every now and then they would go to American Legion in Kerrville or the VFW. She also was a really big fan of playing her Lottery tickets BUT ONLY WHEN SHE WON. She enjoyed sitting in her recliner and she waited patiently for her grandkids or sons to go to her room and ask her for a snack. She always had jars full of candy or Little Debbie snacks. She was a very giving person.

She was a movie fanatic and loved Savannah Smiles, La Bamba, all the Madea movies, and The Color Purple. She knew all the words to all of her movies. She enjoyed watching the cooking channels and shows such as Cake Boss, Rachael Ray, The Pioneer Woman, and many other TV shows. She enjoyed cooking and oh boy, was her home cooking delicious. She enjoyed watching YouTube and listening to her oldies but goodies, polkas, cumbias, Tejano and her Christian music. She loved to sing while her husband played his guitar and she loved to dance. Her favorite move was the Jerk and Twist.

A quote, “Lie is a song, sing it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a sacrifice, offer it. Life is love, enjoy it.”

She was born October 20, 1951 to the late Guadalupe R. Casarez and Rev. Eduardo Casarez.

She was preceded in death by her late first husband, Rodolfo T. Uballe; son, Rudy Uballe Jr., sisters and brother, Gregoria Lara (Faustino), Anita Martinez, Luis Martinez, Fidela Ibarra (Ignacio), Tomasa Arguello (David), Adelaida Asevedo (Gregorio), Maria Salas (Nicholas) and Ester Uballe (Frank).

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Antonio C. Robles; children, Letty Uballe, Edward Uballe (Aurora) and Frank Uballe; grandchildren, Joe Uballe, Alex Uballe (Lydia), Bubba Uballe, Jakob Uballe (Ezra), Pablo Uballe, Jeremy Uballe, Marcus Perez, Augie Silva, Alex Silva, Surena Silva and Breonuh Perez; great-grandchildren, Ciel Silva, Rize Aleman, Eli Gonzales, Keanu Martinez and Amira Jayde Uballe. She had numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved so very much.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, October 20, 2023, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Irvin Walker. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories North Cemetery.

A very special thanks to her second family from Davita Kerrville Dialysis Center, whom she loved very much. Thank you for sacrificing your lives for taking care of our Mother for 23 years.
