Mildred Beatrice Lang

Mildred Beatrice (Wright) Lang, 87, of Kerrville, passed away December 29, 2024, at her residence. She was born in San Antonio on First of the March 1937. She married Joseph Birt Lang on June 4, 1955, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harper.

Mildred graduated from Harper High School and was a mother and housewife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Birt Lang; mother, Helen Mae Hopf; father, James David Wright; sister, Jimmie Mae Loesburg; and a great-grandson, Jordan (Buger) Lang.

She is survived by her children, James Lang (Tammy), Patty Lautzenheiser (Andy), Sherry Wootton (Gary) and Joseph Lang (Rhonda). She is also survived by her pride and joy—her 9 grandchildren, JW, Shawn, Sherri, Tracy, Wyatt, Jenny, Alicia, Meagan and Tyler, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mass will be at 10 AM, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harper, with Father Rudy T. Carrola Jr. as celebrant. Visitation will precede the service at 9 AM, followed by the Rosary at 9:30 AM, at the church. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Anthony Cemetery in Harper.

Pallbearers will be Gary Wootton, Andy Lautzenheiser, Wyatt Lautzenheiser, Robert Kelly, Garrett Barfknecht, Chris Robbins, and Ayden Vanmeter. Robbie Robbins will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peterson Hospice or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
