Gerard "Jerry" Duman

Gerard Duman III, of Del Rio, TX, passed away on January 27, 2025, in Kerrville, TX. He was born in San Antonio, TX, to Frances and Gerard Duman II on March 25, 1945. He married Maria Villafranca on February 14, 1981, in Del Rio, TX.
He went to school at Central Catholic and Jefferson High Schools in San Antonio, TX. He worked as a Signal Maintainer for the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads for 40 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served three combat tours with the Navy as Lead Radarman in the Combat Information Centers on two Destroyers and numerous Riverine Patrol Craft and Gunboats. He deeply loved fishing and was involved in the Big Friendly Bass Club and Rio Grande Bass Club.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 43 years, Maria; sons, Thomas, Matthew (Lindsay), and John Paul (Rebecca); and daughter, Catrina (Bodie); as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his siblings, Billie (Donnie), Elaine (Jack), Harriett and Charlie (Kris).
Rosary and services will be held at 1pm on February 8, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, TX.
