Loyd G. Anderson, age 90, of Medina, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 in Brenham, Tx. He was born in Tuff, Tx to Jessie and Gertrude Anderson, on October 21, 1924. He married Marye Grace Nance on March 5, 1954 in Medina Tx.\r\n\r\nLoyd was a lifelong resident of Medina and worked for the Bandera Electric Cooperative for over 32 years. His pastimes in retirement were fishing, sitting at the Old Timer "gossiping" with his friends, "piddling" in his garage, and spending time with family.\r\n\r\nLoyd was preceded in death by his wife, Marye, his daughter Beverly (BeBe) Sansom, his parents, and his brother Jessie Anderson and sister Ruth Alexander.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include his grandson, Don Sansom and wife Anika of Brenham, three great grandchildren; Lynzie Goodman and husband Nathan of Brownwood, Kayla Sansom, and his namesake Jakob Loyd Sansom both of Brenham, and one great-great grandchild; Aubree Goodman of Brownwood.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be Thursday February 19th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Bandera.\r\n\r\nA Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 20th at 3:00 pm at the Oak Rest Cemetery in Medina with Pastor Bill Stegemueller officiating.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Medina United Methodist Church. \r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
