Mr. Leo Davis Brooks, age 73 of Hunt, TX passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born on May 14, 1942 in Corpus Christi, TX to Leo Lody Brooks and Mary Davis Watkins Brooks. He was a graduate of Big Spring High School in 1960. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1960 until 1980.\r\n\r\nHe married Clara Bernice "Tootie" Gray on May 6, 1967 in Kerrville, TX. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother in law, George Millican.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include two daughters, Amanda Lynne Wilkinson of Hunt and Jennifer Jo OBrien (Patrick) of Lubbock, TX; two sisters, Elizabeth Luane Millican of Waxahachie, TX and Brenda Lee Hill (Don) of California; one brother in law, Charles Gray (Pat) of Kerrville; two grandchildren, Brooklyne MacKenzie Wilkinson and Samantha Jane OBrien and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nThe family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Charles Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories in Kerrville.\r\n\r\nMemorial remembrances may be made to the Wounded Warriors or Peterson Hospice.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
