Gerald H. Persyn, 79 of Bandera was called home to our heavenly father on September 3, 2015.\r\n\r\nWith the guiding hand of our Heavenly Father and his loving family, Gerald was able to make his journey home with peace and joy filling his soul at his residence.\r\n\r\nHe wore many "Hats" throughout his time on earth. Simply put he was a "builder". During his journey, he went from a "builder" of things to a "builder" for Christ.\r\n\r\nGerald is at home now. He is with our Heavenly Father, his beloved wife Mary Ann; son, Jeff; cherished relatives and all his brothers and sisters in Christ that went home before him.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his daughter, four sons, siblings, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all others that he was blessed to know on this earth.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be sent to Peterson Hospice at Peterson Regional Care Center in Kerrville.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to extend their sincere blessings to Peterson Hospice and all others that helped our father to find peace on his journey home.\r\n\r\nPeace be with all.
