Corliss "Corky" Spence, 67, passed away on December 1, 2015.\r\n \r\nShe was born in Boulder, Colorado on February 12, 1948. \r\n \r\nCorky went to University of Texas and retired as a nurse from Sid Peterson Hospital. \r\n \r\nShe is survived by her husband, Richard Spence; brother, Steven Carden; children, Casey Spence and Carly Dusek; son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Kevin Dusek and Tasha Spence; grandchildren, Zach Dusek, Lex Dusek and Olivia Spence.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held 5-7 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be held 11 AM, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Garden of Memories Cemetery officiated by Rev. Frankie Enloe.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch and/or the Kathleen C. Cailloux Humane Society of Kerrville. \r\n
