Leon Francis Salzman passed on to his eternal home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the age of 84. Leon was born at the family farm near LaCoste, Texas on July 4, 1931, the youngest son of 9 children. \r\n\r\nHe graduated from LaCoste High School in 1949. He got married and went on to serve in the Army for a total of 6 years. He made a career at City Public Service Electric Company in San Antonio Texas for over 31 years. Leon and his wife Charlotte completed 61 years of marriage. \r\n\r\nHe is preceeded in death by his parents, brothers, a sister and a grandson. \r\n\r\nLeon is survived by his sister Marlene Schott, husband Randy, wife Charlotte and their children Leon Wayne Salzman, wife Karla, Debbie Trimble, Henry Salzman, wife Jan and Charla Ritchie, husband Wade. Leon also has 11 grandchildren and 6 great granschildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. \r\n\r\nA visitation will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grimes Chapel. \r\n\r\nA Prayer Service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Grimes Chapel. Interment to follow at Pipe Creek Cemetery.\r\n
