Lola Fay Meyer, affectionately known as Grandma Sugar, age 96 of Hunt, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 in a Kerrville hospital. She was born January 17, 1920 in Spanish Fort, TX to John and Anna (Savage) York. \r\n \r\nLola loved life, music and dancing and lived her life to the fullest. She had a great smile and beautiful blue eyes.\r\n \r\nShe was a member of Kingsland Church of Christ.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include daughter, Bobbi Pruneda and husband, Junior of Hunt; son, Vance Dillard of the Phillippines; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016, 2 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.\r\n
