Gerald Thomas Lago, 80, of Medina, passed away on February 9, 2017 in San Antonio. He was born in Essexville, Michigan, to Benjamin and Irene Lago on April 12, 1936.\r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and his son, Jeffrey Alan.\r\n\r\nGerald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy; daughters, Wendy Jean Stacy and husband Bob, and Vickie Lee Gottleber and husband Jerry; sisters, Shan, Pat, Donna and Charlotte; brothers, Dan and Dick; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.\r\n\r\nMemorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Medina. Interment 9:45 AM, Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, with full Honors.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Medina United Methodist Church or a charity of ones choice.\r\n\r\n
