Maria M. Castillo, age 85, of Kerrville, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at her home. She was born on May 8, 1931, in Uvalde, TX, to Ignacio and Ruperta Morales Maldonado. On January 23, 1947, she married Pablo Castillo.\r\n \r\nMrs. Castillo is survived by her husband of 70 years, Pablo Castillo; 2 daughters, Connie Lara and Elsa Alvarado; 2 sons, Inacio Castillo and Pablo Castillo; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. \r\n \r\nThe family will receive friends at Grimes Funeral Chapels from 10 AM-6 PM on Friday, April 28, 2017, with a brief prayer service to begin at 5:30 PM. A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Uvalde, TX on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10 AM.\r\n
