It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Richard Allen Echterhoff, aged 52, on Friday, Oct 6 2017. He is survived by his parents Douglas Echterhoff and Ginger Bright, his sister Donna Florencio, his life partner Elizabeth Dorsey, his children Zachary Turner and Allyson Harmmeling and 5 grandchildren.\r\n\r\nRichard was an avid dancer and was always surrounded by the music he loved. He also enjoyed archaeology and geology. \r\n\r\nFriends and family -- please come help us celebrate the life of this extraordinary man at Grimes Funeral Chapels at 728 Jefferson St. in Kerrville, at 2 pm this Friday, Oct 13 2017.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made in Richard's name to the USO, local chapters of the DAV, or the charity of your choice.\r\n\r\nRichard will be terribly missed. We love you.
