Cherrie Gaye Trapp, age 64 of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in a local care center. She was born November 20, 1953 in Kerrville to Charley Clarence Covert and Beth Imalene (Taylor) Covert, who preceded her in death.\r\n \r\nCherrie received her bachelors degree in business and office occupation from Oak Harbor in Washington State. She received her teaching degree from Schreiner University.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include son, Cameron Trapp of Kerrville; sister, Carol Taylor of Center Point; nephew, Chet Taylor of Florida; and cousins, Curtis Henry Covert, Hazel Marie, Joe Wayne Covert and Harlen Covert.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at 10 AM, Monday, February 26, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Pastor Joe Taylor. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.\r\n
