Alice L. Stone, 87, a longtime resident of Kerrville, Texas passed away on March 26, 2018 at a local nursing home. She was born in Quincy, Illinois to Daniel W. Arter and Anna Mary Ball. \r\n \r\nShe attended high school in Bushnell, Illinois. Throughout her life, Alice lived in many different places and worked in many different areas, but she considered her most meaningful job to be that of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. \r\n \r\nAlice is survived by 6 children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. \r\n \r\nShe was dedicated to her spiritual life and her many friends. \r\n \r\nAlice requested that no funeral service be held. Her ashes will be scattered at a later date. \r\n \r\nShe will be missed by all. \r\n \r\nAlice loved animals, so in lieu of flowers or cards the family asks that you make a donation in Alices memory to your local animal shelter.\r\n
