Gertrude Hobratschk went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, June 18, 2018. \r\n\r\nShe was born Gertrude Lorine Schulze on March 11, 1930 in Fedor, Texas.\r\n \r\nShe later married Albert Hobratschk and they resided and worked in Kerr County. \r\n \r\nThe Lord blessed them with four children: Tillie Moldenhauer of Comfort, Linda McGlothin of Kerrville, A.C. Hobratschk of Kerrville and Robert Hobratschk of Kerrville. She is survived by all four children; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her loving husband in December of 1998.\r\n \r\nGertrude had a servants heart and enjoyed working and serving others all her life.\r\n \r\nMemaw, as she was known at Tias Day Care, touched the lives of many children through her years. She was greatly loved and will be missed.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held on June 30, 2018 at Hosana Lutheran Church in Kerrville. Visitation will be from 9:30-10 AM with the service following at 10 AM. Private interment will be held at Glen Rest Cemetery.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hosana Lutheran Church; Texas Wendish Heritage Museum, 1011 County Road 212, Giddings, Texas 78942; or to a charity of ones choice.\r\n
