John Richard Blanks, 79, of Kerrville, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at his residence. He was born in London, England, on December 15, 1938.\r\n\r\nJohn is survived by his wife, Rita Blanks; son, Tim; son, Simon and his wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, and Jonathan Blanks; and sister, Janet Foster and her husband, Tony.\r\n\r\nJohn was preceded in death by Anne Blanks, his first wife, and also his younger brother, Robert Blanks.\r\n\r\nFuneral Services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at The First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville, located at 800 Jefferson Street, Kerrville, Texas, officiated by Reverend Rob Lohmeyer.\r\n\r\nThe family of John wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Pamela Cantu, and to Hill Country Memorial Hospice for their loving and kind care.\r\n\r\n
