Stephen Michael Walters of Pipe Creek, Texas, passed away at the young age of 44 on Dec. 29, 2019 due to complications of the flu.He was born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, to Chief Master Sargent (Retired) Thomas J. Walters of Lakehills, Texas, and Christine Ann Walters of Pipe Creek, Texas. He grew up in Pipe Creek and graduated from Bandera High School. He went on to attend the University of Alabama and continued to be a super fan of Alabama football as well as the Dallas Cowboys football. He was proud of his profession as a Corrections Officer for the Kerr County Sheriffs office for almost 13 years. \r\nStephen is preceded in deathby his brother Thomas Joshua Walters, Jr. He leaves behind his grieving family of his wife, Sheri Walters, their four children McKenzie, Rheagan, Aiden, and Harper, his parents Tom and Chris Walters, and other family members and friends. \r\nA Celebration of Life will be held at Gateway Church in Bandera, Texas, on Friday, Jan. 24th at 3:00pm. \r\n
