Marvin Oscar Langner, 86 of Sugar Land, Texas passed away on June 1 in Sugar Land. He was born in Knippa, Texas to Gus and Ida Langner on May 11,1934. He married Nova Ann Norwood on November 24, 1961 in Hondo.\r\n\r\nHe went to high school in Uvalde. He worked as a Systems Specialist for City Public Service for over 35 years. He also served 5 years in the Army as a Medic.\r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Herbert Langner.\r\n\r\nMarvin is survived by his loving wife Nova, his son Steven and daughter-in-law Katherine Langner, one granddaughter Jessica Ann Langner Lee and husband Ethan. He recently had the pleasure of becoming a great grandfather to Owen Lee this past April. He is also survived by his brother Eugene and sisters Janet and Vivian.\r\n\r\nMarvin also has many nieces and nephews that he was extremely fond of and close to.
