Richard Michael Harris, 71 years old, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on March 13, 2021 in Kerrville. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 24, 1949.\r\n\r\nHe was a veteran of the U.S. Army (3years) and the U.S. Navy (17 years). He served in Vietnam, Beirut, Desert Storm, and Desert Shield. He was also attached to the NSA as a cryptology technician. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and The Coast Auxiliary. He was very proud to have served his country.\r\n\r\nHis survivors include wife, Barbara Kay Harris, whom he married March 27, 1999; sister, Edwyna Margaret Towler and her two children, Eric Marshall Towler and Elyssa Beth Peters; son, Richard Michael Harris Jr. and his two children, Caileb Michael Harris and Joshua Lee Harris; daughter, Shellee Lynn Boyle and her five children, Joanna Elon Boyle and her two children, Michael Louis Holmes and Rebecca Cheyenne Edmonds, Noah Nathanael Boyle, Selah Grace Boyle, Lydia Faith Boyle, and Josiah Abram Boyle; daughter, Brenda Kay Heathcoat and her three children, Candace Britnay Cortez and her two children, Jeremiah Michael Cortez and Ezra Harlow Cortez, Brook Ashley Heathcoat and her daughter, Ariyah Kimmi Heathcoat, and Chelsie Nicole Dawn Heathcoat; daughter, Dawn Marie Rossi and her two children, Justin Casey Ferguson and Megan Olivia Ferguson; daughter, Heather Drew Moore and her three children, Dakota Mark Moore, Kaleb Dean Moore and Jacob Drew Moore.\r\n\r\nServices will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Kerrville Bible Church officiated by Pastor Scott Christensen. He will be buried at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.\r\n
