Services for Laura Kathryn Kennedy, 61, of Kerrville, who passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 in a local hospital, are pending at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.

"We used to run around together in high school. She and her family were very kind to me. I loved them so very much. They are now all gone. It breaks my heart.
As we grew older, we grew apart. I stayed in touch with her mom for many, many years; not only to maintain that relationship, but also to keep tabs on Laura.
Laura's life had many wonderful, celebratory, and joyous moments in it. It was however, often fraught with poor choices and chaos. As much as I loved her, I could not help her. It is my prayer that she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at some point in her life. I pray that she is at peace and with all of her family.
I hope to see you all again Laura, Linda, Hank, Kay, Bud & Gram! You probably never knew how much I loved you all because I was too young and immature to express how much each of you meant to me.
