Rebecca Ann Wehunt died August 25, 2021 surrounded by family after a fierce battle with Covid-19.
Rebecca was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1956 and attended Roosevelt High School graduating in 1974.
She held many jobs throughout her life but was most successful as a Tax Preparer in Cleburne, Texas for many years. She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Texas #931 for 25 years. Rebecca was an amazing cook and took pleasure in making delicious meals and desserts from scratch. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved taking walks and exploring the beauty of nature. Her larger than life personality and contagious laughter will be greatly missed by her family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eva Helen Fox Wehunt and Harrison Wehunt.
Rebecca is survived by her two older sisters, DeJuana Andrews and Donna Copeland , nephew Joshua Barnett (Lacey) nieces Renee Lamparter (Stephen) and Kellie Andrews and great-nephews Zachary, Tristan, Bryson and Weston, and her beloved dog Frito.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of Rebecca's favorite charities, The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.
