Jeannetta Kay (Farrell) Baker, 81, of San Angelo, passed away September 15, 2022 in San Antonio. She was born in Nashville, TN on July 6, 1941, to Charles Elvis and Katy Belle Farrell. Not too long afterward, the family relocated to Murray, KY, where Kay, as she became known, grew up, a farm girl. She attended local schools and was baptized a Southern Baptist.

As a youngster, she lived in Murray, KY and Bonneau, SC, eventually settling in Charleston, SC, eventually finding her way to Texas.

Kay was a converted to the Catholic faith by marriage and was a faithful member of the Church, St. Stevens in Midland, TX; a volunteer at Vacation Bible School, a School Nurse; provider to food bank, and clothes closets, gave generously to Goodwill, Disabled Vets, St. Jude’s Hospital, and other charities.

She loved Texas, the Cowboy life, Rodeo, Horses, Two Steppin’, George Strait, Alan Jackson, and her pets.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Baker, of 58 years; her son, Rick and his children; her son, Mike and his wife Allison and their children; her sisters, Dell Pye, Sylesia McCart; brother, Kenneth Farrell; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
