Florence Eva Adams Gifford, 79, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on December 20, 2022, at her home in Kerrville. She was born August 3, 1943 in San Antonio to Richard Ewing Adams Sr. and Arilla Eva Crawford Adams. She married Charles F. “Chuck” Gifford in October 1969.
She was employed by First State Bank of Junction where she worked for many years. After she retired, she was heavily involved in Genealogy. She recently had relocated to Kerrville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings.
She is survived by her adopted son, JD Smith and wife, Karie of Junction; granddaughters, Shelby Smith of Junction and Megan Jimenez of Kerrville; and nieces and nephews.
At her request, Florence did not wish to have a service, rather to donate to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Research Foundation.
