Diane Ruth Doppler passed away January 6, 2023 at the age of 52.
Diane was born May 4, 1970 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Roger Doppler and Alice Crenwelge Jones.
Diane graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1989. She loved fishing, hunting, arts and crafts, music and singing.
Diane is survived by her husband, Steven Metheny of Ingram; her biological daughter, Anika and spouse, Theodore Murphy of Fredericksburg; biological son, Michael and spouse, Julia Hutto of Harper; mother, Alice and step-father, Edgar Jones; sister, Lisa and spouse, Jesse Guerrero; brother, Jason Neal Doppler, all of Fredericksburg. She is also survived by two biological grandchildren; two nephews; one niece; two great-nephews; and three great-nieces.
Viewing will be held from 4-7 PM, Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Rev. Don Steadman officiating. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven Metheny, Jason Doppler, Aaron Hutto, Caleb Hutto, and Michael Hutto.
Memorials in Diane’s honor may be made to Hospice, EMS of Fredericksburg, Methodist Hospital, or charity of one’s choice.
