Graveside services for Richard D. ''Doc'' Shindle, M.D., 81, of Hunt, who passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his residence, were held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 14, 2023, at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, where he was laid to rest next to his wife, Patsy.

Doc was born July 27, 1941 in Waynesboro, PA to James and Betty Shindle.

He is survived by four sons, Jeff Shindle, David Shindle, Michael Shindle and Corby Albright.
