Frances married Marvin Craig on December 24, 1978 here in Kerrville. Frances loved to travel and loved history, but most of all, loved the Bible. She has traveled all 48 continental states as well as five provinces of Canada during her 30 plus years of marriage with Marvin. He was an over the road long haul truck driver. Most of you know, she was an avid picture taker and loved her pictures!
Frances attended school at Three Rivers, Texas in her younger years and graduated from the 8th grade there. She later acquired her GED while living in California.
While living in Kerrville, Frances worked as a store manager for Circle K company as well as manager for several Mini-Mart stores during her 15 year tenure with them. She also worked for her son, Bobby and daughter-in-law, Vickie Love, several years at Sunrise Lighting Center, as well as Sunrise Antique Mall. She loved meeting people and chatting with them. As we all know, she was a talker and never met a stranger.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all her many doctors, nurses, Alamo Hospice organization, as well as the staff at Alpine Terrace and Hilltop Village for all the care given to Momma Bear, Frances Craig, during her stays with them. We all know she was a challenge at times but they endured until she made her transition to the streets of gold and entered those pearly gates of Heaven!
Also, a special thanks to Pastor Joseph Fegenbush and Grimes Funeral Chapels and staff.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday evening, April 20th at Grimes Funeral Chapels on Jefferson St., here in Kerrville.
