Memorial Services for Jojean Tolman will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday July 15, 2023, at New Hope Fellowship, 405 Main Street, Ingram, Texas, with The Rev. John Sparks officiating.
She died May 25, 2023, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bernard Tolman; her parents, Virgil and Maggie Joines; a brother, Bill Joines, sister, Anna Miller; and a granddaughter, Sara Briggs.
She was born January 25, 1935, in Iowa Park, Texas. She lived in Kerrville for 38 years. She was a legal secretary for many years, secretary at church, and director of Franchise at Mr. Gatti's. Her passion was playing the piano at her church.
Survivors include her sons, Steve Briggs and wife Lauralyn, Brent Briggs and wife Julia, Joe Briggs and wife AnnMarie, Brian Briggs and wife Beth, Al Briggs and wife Jennie; a sister, Mary Margaret and husband Dusty Canon of Kerrville; a brother, Bobby Joines and wife Kendra of Kerrville; 15 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to New Hope Fellowship.
