Our sweet Debbie has escaped from this world and jumped into the arms of our Lord. She lived an amazing life and touched the lives of many. One of the extraordinary things about Debbie was her ability to make everyone feel comfortable and joyful around her, with her contagious laugh, and heartfelt warmth. Her joy would light up everyone around her. Even in the discomfort of her illness, her light never dimmed. She is a wonderful soul that will truly be missed by all that knew her.

Debbie could easily see God and the miracles of His work in the natural world around us. Miracles that many of us miss.

Debbie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kerrville. She was very active in the church, including participating in a mission trip to Africa, up until her illness prevented such activities. Debbie was a volunteer and board member for Hill Country Ministries.

Debbie was preceded in death by her Dad, Jack Bundy; and Mom, Donna Bundy.

She is survived by her husband, Craig; brothers, Jack and Jim; step-mother, Bettie; and step-sister, Toni. Debbie is the proud Godmother to Everett Foster.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at a later date.

"I've struggled to write many times - it's so hard to speak about Debbie in the past tense. She was my step-sister and I will always remember her sense of humor of love of laughter. She was the light of her dad's eyes - he was very proud of her. Debbie and Craig created a beautiful life together and we were always delighted for any opportunity to visit. She was a natural born "Snow White" - instant friend to any furry creature and had many literally eating out of her hands! You know you are good people when even the critters love and adore you!

I'll never forget Deb's voice - that distinctive way she spoke, mixing a southern accent with her Detroit roots. She was the epitome of effortless grace and hospitality. I cherish the texts and emails with funny jokes, observances and quips. I only wish I could have known her better.

I'm comforted in knowing her faith was strong and I'm sure she is fulfilled in heaven, reunited with Donna and Jack. I send all my love to Craig, who has been such a warrior for her these last years."

"It was treat getting to work with Deb in Russellville and then have Craig and Deb head up to Hudson Wisconsin for a number of years.

Her positive attitude, infectious laugh, love of animals, and sense of adventure were inspiring to us all.

We will miss her greatly but know that her strong faith has taken her to her next adventure."

"Craig, we were shocked and heartbroken to hear of Debbie leaving this world so soon! We grieve with you. Our prayers are that somehow you will encounter the comfort and peace only God can offer during this difficult season. May God's grace wrap you and sustain you, Brother.
