Judy Gail Preece, 79, of Kerrville, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, in a local care center. She was born October 1, 1944, in Birmingham, Alabama.
She loved going to church and was a member of River Front Church. She was a prayer warrior who prayed for everyone. She loved her family so much. She loved all her animals and spoiled them rotten.
Judy was preceded in death by husband, Ellis Preece; mother, Pauline Chambers; father, Cecil Chambers; daughter, Denise Preece; and son, Bo Preece.
Survivors include sons, Duke Blackwell and wife, Margaret and Arthur Goolsby and wife, Melanie; brother, Sid Chambers and wife, Teresa; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, November 10, 2023, at Glen Rest Cemetery, officiated by Brother Ernest Taylor.
