Dorothy Ann Brady, 75, of San Antonio, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in San Antonio. She was born in Crystal City, Texas to Earl and Shirley Backor on November 26, 1948.
She was a graduate of Crystal City High School, class of 1967. She was retired, formerly working for the State of Texas Department of Human Services, the Division for the Blind.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving parents and son, Steven Paul Brady.
Survivors include daughter, Stephanie Brady Pittman and spouse, Jason Pittman; grandchildren, Jett Pittman, Rory Pittman, Thomas Brady and William Brady; daughter-in-law, Debbie McGary; siblings, Beth Hammer, Steve Backor, Kathleen Zadik, Ricky Backor, Paul Backor, Barbie Hoffman, Sharon Vaughan and Karen McLaughlin; and many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, March 1, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde.
