Gary Castro, 42, of Kerrville, passed away February 20, 2024. He was born in Kerrville to Jose and Yolanda Castro on July 4, 1981.

He went to Tivy High School in Kerrville up to 12th grade. He worked as Front Desk Clerk at Lone Star Inn for 5 years.

Gary was preceded in death by father, Jose Castro III; brother, Jose Castro IV; and grandfathers, Jose Castro Jr. and Joe R. Delgadillo.

Survivors include mother, Yolanda Castro; brother, Mark A. Castro; nieces, Kiersten, Kyra and Arysta Castro; nephew, Drayvin Joe Castro; grandmothers, Margarita Delgadillo and Julia Castro; aunts, Rita Escamilla, Terry (Freddy) Argona, Christine (Steve) Savage and Yvonne Castro; uncles, Frank Delgadillo and Ruben Castro; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM, Sunday, February, 25, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, February 26, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Pastor Del Way. Burial will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Comfort.
